NRFTW was a pioneering night that lead the charge for  Live Drum and Bass bands in the UK.

The night ran for five years between 2003 and 2008 at East London Venues.  From it's humble beginnings at On the Rocks, the night moved to Cargo before finding a permanent home at the much loved and now sadly gone, Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel.

Being the only night in the country specifically catering for Live Drum and Bass bands, it is no surprise that it quickly gained a following.  Articles in the Metro , Time Out, Mixmag and Knowledge which recognised the importance of the night, helped to propell it to new heights with bands from all over the UK and Europe coming to play.

NRFTW hosted stages at Waveform and Sunrise festivals before the smoking ban killed off the vibe at the Rhythm Factory.  Events were full to capacity, but most people spent the night outside smoking.  At this juncture we should've moved venues, but decided to call it a night on NRFTW for the time being.

NRFTW is set to relaunch at a new venue in 2020.  If you would like to have NRFTW at your venue or are a band that would fit in with our events, contact us through the link below.

"Bands are queuing up to play in the forthcoming months so if you foolishly haven't witnessed drum & bass played live yet, and want to know what all the fuss is about, then you must check out NRFTW." Mixmag

Mixmag

"No Rest for The Wicked, very probably the only live drum ‘n’ bass night in the UK at the moment, puts the genre right back centre stage by harnessing its pounding rhythms to the raw energy of live performance from a bunch of musicians who know how to mix things up, break things down and get underneath an audience’s skin." Dogs on acid
